Commercial Installation Warranty

All security cameras, network video recorders, and other electrical equipment installed by Camera Security Now come protected by a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty unless stated otherwise.
This warranty covers repair or replacement of defective equipment, subject to the restrictions below, but does not cover technical support or onsite labor for defective equipment unless an extended warranty or valid service contract applies.
The labor cost portion of the original installation invoice covers the time spent onsite during the initial installation process only. It does not include ongoing or future technical support for installed products.

Warranty coverage depends on the issue, the timing, the equipment, and whether the problem is related to installation, equipment failure, misuse, or external causes.
Installed cameras, NVRs, and other electrical equipment are protected by a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty unless stated otherwise.

Issues caused by misuse, tampering, unplugged equipment, cut wires, chewed wires, acts of nature, or similar causes are not covered as installation defects.
Planning Considerations
Initial networking labor covers the one-time setup of supported equipment at the customer location.
Initial networking labor may include setup of mobile devices, laptops, remote viewing, modems, and routers within the customer location. It does not include ongoing or future technical support unless an extended warranty or valid service contract applies.
Software updates, Apple device updates, modem resets, router replacement, and internet service provider changes may overwrite settings. Camera Security Now recommends customers keep DVR/NVR passwords, settings, and screen captures so settings can be restored if needed.

Warranty coverage does not apply to every situation. The following are examples of excluded conditions.
Consumable parts, protective coatings, cosmetic damage, boxes, packaging, and exterior surfaces may be excluded.
Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, acts of God or nature, or other external causes is excluded.
Damage caused by service, upgrades, expansions, custom firmware, software changes, or modifications not authorized by Camera Security Now is excluded.
Defects caused by normal wear and tear, normal product aging, or products with removed or defaced serial numbers are excluded.
